Aims and Tasks

1: To reduce the level of exploitation and prejudice towards migrant workers

2: To increase the capacity of migrant workers to access services to play an active role in local communities

3: To increased the acceptance of the concept of multiculturalism

4: To enhance awareness and understanding amongst staff in the partner organisations regarding migrant workers.

5: To develop effective partnership working in order to deliver cohesive, improved services to migrant workers.

6: To effectively disseminate learning and best practice to the wider public and community sectors.

Project Tasked Activities:

The project has specific tasks to organise over its lifetime including:

1: Development of a five year strategic plan for integrating service delivery.

2: To establish a research programme

3: To develop and deliver conferences and seminars

4: To deliver local activities programmes

5: To develop a transnational project

6: To develop initiatives to enhance awareness and understanding among staff of participant organisations.
